I am enjoying good health right now. We have had an awful march and a terrible battle. A great amount of our troops were killed or wounded but i resulted without a scratch. We were in the middle of a fight making a charge on the rebels  a half a mile. Our good friend Steven Hunt was wounded in the hip. I have not seen him since he fell. Steven was a good soldier but a even better friend to us. I should be home soon,
