And the fact that no one in this book really truly supported Celestine and defended her shows that the society is poisoned into thinking that being super self-centered is okay. Also, whoever thought it was a good idea to create this whole system where only certain things make you flawed really bothers me. Bosco is still putting words in her mouth to save her. But, she's starting to understand that she's changed too and what she's done isn't wrong, nor was. I also think she's developing an anger towards the Guild but, it is not as fierce as Carrick's but has the potential to be. As a reader, that isn't really surprising to me because I feel like that's how most novels like Cecelia's end up, where the main characters becomes enraged with the futuristic government that everyone else seems to think id perfect but in reality, is evil. All I can see is this giant F, burned into her skin, like her skin is almost burned to nothing but red flesh and it's all red and pink and gooey. His personality is exactly what Celestine should turn into. Though, Celestine is feeling way too much for him for only knowing him after like two days. I feel a lot too, but not after two days. But also, I really can't wait until they do something rebellious and actually like fall in love because like duh that's where the plot line will end up going. Judge Creven makes it seem as if it is the worst thing in the world to be anything other than perfect, and spreads that message across the media by twisting stories and making the situation seem even worse than it really is. In this society, Celestine is labeled as "flawed" , and was branded, so now the rest of society will look at her differently and wont see her the same way they had before. She has started a movement to help the flawed and keep them safe, and even more people are now disgusted with her, I can't wait to see just how far her movement can go, and just exactly the actions Judge Creven will do to try and stop her.

For example, Judge Crevan has a lot of anger and hatred for Celestine and though he doesn't just say I hate you (well like he gets pissed at her after she confesses and yells at her) he's one to hold a grudge. He literally made her get an extra brand since she didn't want to beg him to forgive her. He quite frankly doesn't act like he gives a crap but really he does and he wants her to submit to him like she used to and since she won't he gets even more mad and does crazy stuff like that. He also doesn't show mercy towards the Tinders and never really talks to them once their mom is Flawed™, also showing that he's kind of holding a grudge and lowkey hates them.

There is absolutely nothing in the flawed™ laws that says the flawed™ should be treated any different from the "normal" people, other than the dietary restrictions, gathering rules, and curfews. Once Celestine is branded, her peers, teachers, and even her own brother treat her differently. There is no reason for this beside the stigma against the flawed™.
