One fresh idea I would like to bring to the 24/25 Student Council is the creation of a specialized bulletin board that serves as both a platform for student concerns and a space to showcase current trends and updates within the school. This bulletin board would act as a dynamic communication tool, allowing students to post their concerns, ideas, or suggestions in a structured format.

At the same time, it would highlight ongoing school trends, events, or achievements—whether it’s the latest Spartacast updates, club highlights, or announcements about upcoming activities. The board could also include interactive features, such as QR codes that lead to surveys or online resources, making it both engaging and accessible.

This initiative would foster a more transparent and connected community, giving every student a voice while keeping them informed and engaged with school life.

My main idea is that I want to make the academics division a more active division where everyone is more involved in activities and events. My idea is to allow the academics division as a platform to promote knowledge in the school area. We can promote daily fun facts in the ssc instagram to educate the secondary students, reading competition to encourage reading, math drills to be solved for prizes, fun literature quiz, and other forms of monthly events or games that can be used to promote a subject at school. I believe that the academics division has the capability to educate the school community and make a strong difference.

Yes, I do have ideas to bring to the 24/25 Student Council. One idea I had to help continue elevate and develop students in SVP, is utilizing the SSC instagram account more to engage with students more. As teenagers, many of us scroll through instagram stories. By implementing academic media in the SSC's instagram for students to engage in, such as fun facts, QnAs (similiar to the DP takeover), small quizzes, or even past IBDP paper questions for DP students to try and answer, not only will it gradually help develop students and their academic skills, but it also serves as a fun and engaging way for students to learn and develop more.

I do have fresh ideas for this years student council which is making a weekly news board somewhere around school where students can propose to put stuffs that is currently going on in school to notify other students, making an art and music festival which I believe will make SVP more well known exactly like our SSC leader's goal, I believe we have what it takes to make big festivals such as skyave(labsky's event), fortals(GPS' event). For UN day instead of dressing up I think we can use the opportunity to assign classes to different countries and hold an event where they would set up booths to showcase the food and cultures of that country, through this event we can immerse ourselves deeper to the cultures and learn more about them. I also think SSC should be more active in social medias such as tiktoks by like making interesting videos like interviews and such so that people outside our school will know SVP better, I have lots and lots of ideas for contents and really want to help make it. Those are my ideas I currently have that I would bring to the student council, if I get accepted I believe I can create even more and better ideas to improve our school.

If I can, I want to add a COC (Clash of Champions) inspired competition, which I changed the name to Scholar's Showdown in Spartacus, not only in House meetings. In Spartacus, there can be two different Scholar's Showdowns (Grade 7 - 9 and Grade 10 - 12 or MYP and DP) or only one (Grade 7 - 12). Different schools will pick 3 - 5 students to represent them; each grade will have at least one representative student, and they will be in one team, together representing their school. This competition is about Math, Science, and General Knowledge (can be changed)

1. Preliminary round
- 1st round
Brainstorm Battles: Teams solve complex problems.
Example: Build a bridge with only paper that can withstand ... kg!

- 2nd round
Knowledge Relay:
A quiz covering all core subjects (Math, Science, and General Knowledge).
Each team member answers a question from a specific subject.
The fastest teams with correct answers proceed to the next round.

2. Semi-Finals
- 1st round
Rapid Recall (Memory Challenge):
Teams are shown a series of facts, images, or numbers for 1 minute.
Afterward, they answer memory-based questions (e.g., “What was the 5th word in the sequence?” or “Which historical figure appeared in the third image?”).

-2nd round
Logic and Puzzle Challenge:
Teams solve riddles, brainteasers, and puzzles
Incorporate mathematical problems requiring logical thinking.

3. Final Round
Treasure Hunt:
Activity: Teams solve subject-related clues to find hidden items around the area (such as Amarta or classes.) The fastest team to find the hidden items wins.
Twist: Clues could involve solving equations, cracking codes, or identifying historical facts.

Code Cracker Duel (If in the finals, there are more than two teams)
There will be a code that the teams have to decode. There will be five boards with different levels of difficulty ( 1 being the easiest, five being the hardest). The team that finishes all five boards first wins.
Example: Decode “GSRH RH Z HVXIVG” (Caesar cipher) or Code: 32 : 4 = 8

Event Flow Example:
Day 1: Preliminary Round (Brainstorm Battles and Knowledge Relay).
Day 2: Semi-Finals (Rapid Recall and Logic and Puzzle Challenge).
Day 3: Final Round (Treasure Hunt and Code Cracker Duel)

Judging Criteria:
Accuracy: Correct answers in quizzes and problem-solving rounds.
Teamwork: Collaboration in solving problems.
Speed: The amount of time they took to finish or answer the challenges or questions.
