Positive affirmations are a form of self-help. Practising positive affirmations can help students overcome fear and self-doubt.

During TSC, you may give them Affirmation Card (Coupon) if you have observed good progress.

Monitor and jot down your observations. Take a picture of the card and share it in this Padlet. There are no limits to the number of cards you want to give. You may give to other students eg, Students in your class, CCA, or students under your charge.

Li Ying rarely volunteers herself in class and is always in the background. However, she surprised me when she volunteered to be one of the first few students to attempt the Tower Circuit. Very impressed with her!

Isaiah shared a video on resilience. The video took a few weeks, it was corrupted so he had to remake. He understood that his peers might not be able to understand his pronunciation, so he added the subtitles. He is still learning to manage his expectations as his movements gets weaker.

Faiq struggles in his studies. He displays signs of inattentiveness and impulsivity. Plus point for him is that he loves his mother and have good relationship with his parents. I can see that he is trying hard because he wants to make his parents happy. I hope this note will help encourage him to continue working on himself and to believe that he can control his learning focus.
