Dear teachers,
You were the only ones who helped us in this pandemic. You may ask by how? Well you are not a doctor not a police that helped us directly in this pandemic to fight it but you were the ones that helped to educate the nation even in this pandemic.
When schools first closed due to increasing rate of covid 19, most of the students were happy to get those extra holidays but little did we know that the pandemic was our enemy. We may stay at home but how can we meet the friends because school was the only common place to meet with friends. Those were the worst thing. My parents were very tensed about the education but thanks to the teachers who decided to teach us online with all their efforts. Even though most teachers were not aware of online platform but they did their best to give the knowledge they have. I appreciate it. I love the concept of website and exams held online. Anyways I have to give a big thank you to all teachers.

I would like to start my speech by thanking all my beloved teachers for always guiding us and bestowing us with all the teachings, moral values, and discipline. Teachers’ Day in India is celebrated every year on the 5th of September to mark the birthday of our second President, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Dr. Radhakrishnan was the first Vice President of India. He was also a great scholar, an ideal teacher, and a Bharat Ratna recipient. He was born on 5th September 1988. It was after becoming the President of India, some of his friends and students approached Dr. Radhakrishnan to celebrate his birthday. To this, he replied that instead of celebrating his birthday on this particular date, it would be his privilege if 5th September is celebrated as Teachers’ Day all over India. Thereafter, 5th September is celebrated every year to honour our beloved teachers who nourish and prepare us for a better future.

Teachers are our supporting pillars who play an important role in guiding us throughout our student life. They give their best to teach us valuable lessons in life and are our role models whom we look up to. I equally want to thank my parents for being my first mentor and supporting me in each and every step of my life. On this occasion, I would like to request my parents as well as my teachers to continue guiding me in every phase of my life.

It is said that the future of a particular country lies in the hands of its children. Thus, a teacher has a major role to play in shaping the future of the students and help us become successful in our respective careers.

Teacher’s Day is thus celebrated to honour the hardships as well as to acknowledge their special role in our lives. It is a day full of excitement, activities, and special performances that are organized by the students, especially for their teachers. Teachers work to make us good human beings and perfect citizens of this human society by giving us the human values like truth, peace, mercy, courtesy, love, honesty, loyalty etc and build our character, reform our nature with positivity and good habits also by removing anger, lush, greed, envy, jealousy etc from our character. Teachers enlighten our mind, our spirit and so they are the angel for us. We should have love to our teachers because they are our good friend and well-wisher. We should respect them because they are our real guide. We should honour them because they are wise- the philosopher. This 5th September is celebrated as teachers' day because of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan's birthday on this day who was a great educationist, a philosopher, the first vice president and second president of our independent India . We the people of India pay our respect to this great personality who has a large contribution to the field of education.

I will not discuss the same sentences that everyone writes that 'teachers are everything to us and all' because our teachers already know these. But what they may not know is that their profession is the greatest of all. The reason to justify this sentence is that all the other professionals are shaped out by our lovely teachers.
Now we all are in this pandemic situation, and we think that there is so much pressure on us for all these studies but we forget that we can tell this to everyone. I am writing this to all my respected teachers on this teacher’s day
Even though we are stuck at home not having a good time, hoping the school reopens soon, you, our teachers make our lives happier and better!
The reason we celebrate this event is because one of the greatest teacher Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was born.
Now I want to tell about his life. He was born in Thiruttani, on 5 September 1888. He was an Indian academic, professor, philosopher and politician who served as the first Vice President of India and the second President of India. He had won many awards like the Bharat Ratna, Templeton prize, order of Merit and the order of the Aztec eagle. We are celebrating this since 1962. But sadly he passed away at the age of 86 years in Chennai on 17 April 1975.

I am really missing all my teachers, even though we meet in online classes it is not as great as it was when we went to school and did classes there. On This day I want to pay respect to all my teachers.

HAPPY TEACHERS DAY to all of the teachers who takes care of our child like mother. Teachers don't only teaches us. But also they teaches us Manners. How to walk in life they shows that path. We mother's leave our child for school for 6 hours. We do not worry about our child because WE KNOW THAT THEY ARE STAYING IN ANOTHER SAFE HOUSE.
