D4

I was born on the twenty seventh of June 1846. I lived with a wealthy family. I lived in a house called Avondale house in County Wicklow. I was the leader of the Irish Parliamentary Party for nine years.

I became the leader of the home rule league in 1880 and many people began to support me. The land war brought me some success but I turned my attention towards trying to get home rule in Ireland. It all changed when I caused a divorce so I could be with the love of my life Katharine O Shea.

Divorce was very rare and was frowned upon and I was brought to Kilmainham Gaol in 1882. Then in the British election of 1885 I was elected into the British parliament. But people were not happy with me. Captain William, Katharine's original husband said that I caused their marriages breakdown. People stopped supporting me so we went to room 9 and voted whether I should stay in parliament or leave. $5 members voted against me, 27 voted for me.

Now I am jobless but I have less pressure on me. Now me and Katharine live in peace. But I haven't been feeling great recently. I might go to the doctor.
