Moving to towns and cities would have benefited farm workers because more people means more selling of food so you get more money, however all the mills at the time would have made the oxygen nasty and grim and plants need oxygen to grow so they might get infected or worse… die.

It would have an affect because people won’t know anyone in the city and town because it’s a new place and it would have an impact on the family that they are leaving. It would have been very busy with building and people all around the city and towns so they would not be a lot of space .

I think that people moved from rural areas because they need more money , better jobs and more opportunities to work and the were promised more than what the were earning from farming so people go the urban areas so the can live better lives and earn more.

It would have benefited the farmers because they might get more land to grow crops on because many people were moving to the urban cities so there wouldn’t be many people living in the countryside . This migration could have an impact on the family because they would have to meet new people and some would have to live in a cellar and also it won’t be as nice as living in the countryside because of all the dirt and smoke everywhere and it would be different for the people who did live in the countryside because it would be very busy and crowded.

But, living in the city would cause more health issues because of the air pollution and waste and diseases would spread more easily than it would on a farm and also they would live longer in the rural environment because it would be cleaner and the air would be cleaner and fresh.

I think migrating to towns or cities are bed and good because if you work on a farm in the countryside you get paid little money and of you work in a city you get paid a little bit more money than one a farm and of you live next to a factory you wouldn’t have to walk far.

A reason people may move from rural areas to urban areas is that jobs may be hard in the countryside and people still will not be paid much by doing them. But moving over to the urban areas is a bad idea because compared to your old peaceful landscape you used to live in, it would be in bad conditions because of all the smoke coming out of the buildings. This would cause air pollution and that would make people poorly. You would also not live as long in urban areas. You would live up to about 30 years old compared to, before, in rural areas you would live up to around 50 years old.

I think that the reason that people moved from rural areas to go and live in urban areas is because if they moved from the countryside into the urban areas they were promised that they would get a good job and that they would get paid a decent amount of money. But sadly it was a crowded because of the increase of people the living conditions were dreadful and the living conditions were even that bad it would eventually lead to death if the conditions were too bad!

It would have a negative impact on the farmworkers because you would probably get poorly from all of the smoke from the factories, and you are always be crammed up with other people because there are a lot of people, you would probably live in someone’s cellar because there are not enough houses to fit everyone into, you would live up to around 50 because of the bad conditions.

Migrating to urban areas would have benefited the farmers because farm work is not the easiest job , there are many more jobs in the city,a lot of help was needed in factory’s and mills plus and there aren’t many opportunities for a job .So that results in many people moved to a urban area and a lot of friends and family moved and people were promised a lot of money and they were told they would be wealthy .

I think they moved because for some of their children in the village there are no opportunities for when they grow up but in a town there will be more opportunities. It could also be negative because they thought they were going to get paid and have a nice bed to sleep on but when they went there was pollution, horrible beds (that let the cold in) and they were not paid.

And the farm is really hard and family members could died really quickly also there aren’t many jobs you can do. And the home would be more comfortable.
