It is important, during the classes of the most various topics, to work certain abilities with the students. For example, preparing a seminar would be a manner of training communication skills, that can be useful further than in school, but also during life. Other example would be inquiries activities, in which students have to research, understand the central problem in a contextualized manner. The discussion about these materials is very enriched by the cultural differences and understanding. The understanding of the importance of international understanding  would be a long term task. 
During several classes, students would face, not only materials from different origins, but also, research papers from different authors and they would participate, for example, of "international congresses", a very common practice within the scientific world.
