He is a grown man crying because his wife isn't babying him. Throughout the story Walter would get mad whenever he felt alone. In one scene Walter was so sad that he went to the bar and got so drunk that he was totally disoriented. Another example was when Walter said  “WILL SOMEBODY PLEASE LISTEN TO ME TODAY!” P.( 70). Just another example of Walter throwing another fit because he wasn't getting babied.

(94,95).In this walter was yelling at the women that raised him that took him in.She didnt have to let the whole family move in the only thing he worried about was his desires.He thinks his desires can solve everyone's problems.His mother trusted him with the money to do the right thing and he still did his own thing .

The reason why i said this is because he tells his son about these things and cant offer them to him.He cant get a big house get a car or shofer.The only thing he can teach his son is how to drink at the bar. Walter is a dream person always dreams but never really tries unlike ruth. He needs stuff to be handed to him he deosn't go get them. He loves his dreams but they are to far away from his reality
