I graduated from Western State Colorado University with a BS in Sociology and Elementary Education. Additionally I have earned a Master's Degree in Diverse Learner.  When I arrived in Texas, I already had 10 years of experience in 1st -3rd grades. During my time in HEB, I've worked at 2 campuses in grades 1st, 2nd and 4th.   I am certified in ESL, EC-6 , with an endorsement in Gifted Ed.  My husband and I reside in Fort Worth with our 2 boys, who attend Harwood Junior High, and our lovely Labrador- Maisy Mae.
