Candidates will have their photo taken after checking in and then return to their families.

Parents will receive a folder containing information about your family. Please take a few minutes to review the information and make any corrections or additions so that we have the correct contact information for everyone who should receive Confirmation communications throughout the year.

1:00–1:35 PM — Parents & Teens Together
We will begin the afternoon together in the Parish Hall. We will talk about Confirmation, where we are going this year, and why this journey matters.

1:35–4:25 PM — Teen Stations
At 1:35, the teens will head into their groups for three different stations.
The stations are designed to be interactive and give our teens an opportunity to think, talk, pray, and encounter Jesus in different ways.

Our three themes are:

BE A SAINT — Called to Holiness
RECEIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT — Strengthened by the Spirit
LIVE AS A SAINT — My Year of Formation

There will also be a break between the second and third stations.

Parents will have their own time together after the teens leave for their stations.

4:35–5:00 PM — Closing

Everyone will return to the Parish Hall for our closing together.
We want to reassure our teens that they do not need to be nervous about Sunday. We know that starting Confirmation can feel uncertain, especially when you don't know exactly what to expect.

That's okay.

We meet our teens where they are. They don't have to have everything figured out. They don't have to know all the answers. We simply want them to come with an open mind and an open heart and give Jesus a chance to work in their lives.

YOUR FIRST CONFIRMATION ASSIGNMENT — MOBILESERVE 

Before Sunday, we are asking every candidate to get registered with MobileServe.
MobileServe is the platform you will use throughout the year to track your Confirmation service hours.

Candidates — this is your responsibility. Your parents can help you if you need it, but please take the time to set up your own account and make sure you can access it.

If you do NOT have a MobileServe account:

1. Download the MobileServe app on your phone.

2. Create your account.

3. When asked for the organization access code, enter: 4A6397

4. Make sure you are connected to SMG: Confirmation.

5. Log in and make sure everything is working.

If you already have a MobileServe account:

1. Open MobileServe.

2. Go to your Settings.

3. Find Organizations.

4. Add the organization using the code: 4A6397

5. Make sure SMG: Confirmation appears in your organizations.

Please complete this before Sunday.

We'll talk more about service during the year. Remember, the goal isn't simply to accumulate hours. Service is an opportunity to get outside of ourselves, serve others, and learn to live like Jesus.

We encourage both parents and teens to bookmark this page so you can easily find it throughout the year.

ONE LAST THING
We know our teens have a lot going on. Sports, school, extracurricular activities, jobs, family commitments, and many other things compete for their time.

We are asking for approximately two hours a month for Confirmation.

Please put the Confirmation dates on your calendar and make these meetings a priority. We know that legitimate conflicts and unexpected things happen, but we don't want Confirmation to always be the thing that gets pushed aside whenever something else comes up.

This year is about much more than checking boxes and getting to April.

We want our teens to encounter Jesus.

We want them to grow in their faith.

We want them to become the people God created them to be.

And we want to walk with your family along the way.

We are excited to begin this journey with you!

Confirmation Meetings This Week 
Our Confirmation meetings are Tuesday and Wednesday from 7:00–9:00 PM.
Please arrive before 7:00 PM so your candidate has time to find their classroom and be ready for the meeting to begin.

Entrance:
Please enter through Door 6 — Parish Office entrance.

Pickup:
The meeting will end at 9:00 PM. Parents can pick up their candidates from the church at that time.


This Month: Prayer 
This month we will be focusing on prayer and what it means to develop a personal relationship with Jesus.

Candidates will begin the evening with their mentors in their small groups. We will finish the evening together in the main church sanctuary for a time of prayer.

We are looking forward to being with your teens this week and helping them grow closer to Jesus.
