By creating and using the same dress code for both girls and boys, there is less limitation as to what girls can or can't wear. A simple dress code that only requires for certain body part (from armpit to mid-thigh without exposing in between), students are able to wear a larger variety of clothes. Something that also has to be reprimanded is respect towards others. Angela's mother- Her mother was very upset at the school's strict dress code and found it unacceptable that girls have to be humiliated over dress codes.
Ms. Patil- Teacher and mother that understands that there needs to be a change for girls.

When girls are sent to the office over them wearing "inappropriate" clothing, they miss out on their education which is not good for them.
