Baret Scholars is a global gap year program that takes a cohort of students on an 8-month journey through seven world-class cities: New York, São Paulo, Paris, Istanbul, Nairobi, New Delhi, and Beijing. In each city, students participate in our signature Morning Program, a daily educational event where outstanding local professionals give TED-style talks and host interactive Q&A sessions. Topics range widely — from engineering and artificial intelligence to theatre scriptwriting and biodiversity.

Throughout the experience, students are guided by a dedicated team of mentors from diverse academic and professional backgrounds who help them explore their personal goals, connect with global networks, and grow into independent young adults ready for college and beyond. Virtual Summer School is a free, three-day long programme for Unifrog students around the world who are currently in Year 12 / Grade 11. 

The deadline for registering is 10am (BST) on Monday 6 July.

Students choose one of five subject streams, each led by a different top university. They’ll have the opportunity to learn from leaders in the field and connect with university representatives.

During the summer school, students will attend three subject-specific sessions which build towards an independent project, as well as up to five university study skills sessions. 

How do students join?

Students join Virtual Summer School on Unifrog’s Events tool (this is a link to the student side). 

Students need to pick their preferred subject stream. The sessions will run alongside each other so students can't choose multiple subject streams.
