Today I did a practical lesson on spatial relationship where we identified that spatial is the space that your in and relationship is the interaction you share with someone. I had to understand the use of space, personal space, self awareness, exploring different types of spaces.

I did an exercise with a partner on use a specific dialogue to create a social conversation using only dialogue, facial expressions, movement and gesture this was used to know how i would usually reacting if it was a normal social activity.

I watched a performance by Laban dance academy, where I got a chance to ask them questions about how long they've been doing this for, their future goals and what drives them to become the best.

If I was to direct or choreograph this piece, the improvement that I would take into consideration, is the use of lighting to show the characters' purpose or their emotions. I could use spotlights or flashing lights or colour changes. But it was a great performance.

I started of with a physical activity, which involved kinaesthetic response, to always react.

I learnt that emotions affect actions in which the people you are surrounded by will likely respond to and change at the same time.

I also learn't that central gravity is the leading part of the body

I did a balancing exercise by stand on the ball of my feet. Its the body part that would lead you and gravitate around.

Then I did another physical activity where I had to use actions to put into emotions without verbally responding. which is acting without sound.

For the start of the lesson I had to choose one third of the opening scenes, that were given to me on Wednesday and i had to use different emotions doing the scene with a partner.

After i did a practical activity making shapes with my body. i learnt that with shapes are still, linear and curved objects which you can create with your body physically.

Shapes are a good use of any physical activity, where you can improvise and become anything you want.

I also learn't about gesture which is a physical technique where you move your body mostly upper body but your still in space. It is useful for when saying any sort of dialogue if necessary.

They have a beginning, middle and an end. thy also include different characters, who gesture different types of ways.

I did a activity using Tableaux Vivant a silent theatrical technique where a group of people arranged to represent a scene or incident.
I was put in a group, where we were given a scene and we had to construct it into a tableaux. After we had to include dialogue in to the Tableaux Vivant.

Today in class, my tutor explained about what areas that im going to be doing for my assessment.

My tutor talked about the plays that the class will be working on with the girls doing The Maids by Jean Genet and the guys doing the Pillowman by Martin McDonald.

For my assessment Ive been asked to do and independent pathway, in which I chose acting being my main profession. i have to find two Monologues to do one being comedy and one being tragedy.

i also learnt about text analyses on what things included in a play

Today I presented my PowerPoint presentation on Jacque Lecoq, a French Actor and Mime artist known for his physical theatre work.

Today in lesson we talked about Lecoqs training style such as Mime work and use of masks and how he would teach this methods to his students.

With mask you can use your body and gesture to express youself and show the emotions with movement.

After i did a exercise in a group of four focusing on 5 balancing techniques by transitioning in a fluid way.

We also did mime work in pairs using Actions and gestures to make it believable.

In today's lesson we focused on emotions by doing partner work on a script which was given on Wednesday.

The theatre was constructed into a plus shape with four empty parts, where one of the partners would be in that box using the emotion given in those boxes being Rage, Terror, Sadness and Joy.

We also had to move from box to box changing to a different emotion, I found the activity very helpful and challenging because as a actor you would cast as a character with a sort of emotion all you would be asked by the director to demonstrate it.

What was challenging for me was when we was switching i tried to keep the emotion that i was using.

After we did a mime exercise, where we had to do an action like driving a car or getting shot and slapped by using speed and slow motion as if we was shrinking. My teacher used music to incorporate the actions i was doing to tell and bring a story to life.

We did a memory game where we had to think of something happy and bring emotions into the memory we was thinking about and teacher said during that exercise "imagine that memory", "feel happy," "imagine the memory is fading away and that it no longer exist" and that is when i started to break down in tears.

After lunch we did character profile work with scripts based on a scenario and we were pared up and had to come up with a story based on the script. After we showed back to the class and gave feedback.

I learnt about using different emotions depending on what sort of character I would play

Today lesson was about emotional recall and the heart of the scene where we had to find the purposes for the scenes that we had been working on. While I was doing this scene, I used a couple of gestures to let the audience guess what was the purpose of the scene.

I learn't about finding the key purpose of a certain scene and keeping the audience guessing.

Today I had my assessment on the scene work and had to use the techniques that I have been working on this term.

My tutors feedback about my performance was that I had made good use of the theatre space and my emotions and facial expressions were very good.

The projection of my voice was also good because it used to be my weakest point since I start Level 1 and the transition of the scenes were good as well.

In today's session are focus for are scene work is objectives and obstacles of the character that I am playing .

I said for my character that he's trying to get the truth out of Katurian, but the obstacle that is preventing him from getting to his goal is that the suspect is eritating him and not being truthful for his actions.

In today's session we worked on FLIIP

we had a discussion about them and why they are important in the acting industry.

Then we worked on Uta hagens scene studies on obstacles and objectives for are scene scripts.

After we when given a script and we had to find and mark out the super objectives in those lines. This is to know what the characters wants.

Then we did an activity with a partner using creative tension with the objectives making our own scene.
