Based on the Newsela article, there were a few rather important gifts that stuck out to me. The first thing was just how much the Nile gave them through natural causes. They thrived on a river for thousands of years while respecting nature and its boundaries. The second thing was the benefits they reaped from having such a relationship with nature. Their crops and food were plentiful most years, with a surplus adding in there every so often. And the final thing I would find necessary to add is how much society evolved from a simple gift of the Nile. They were able to create trade and taxes from the success of the Nile.

The Nile and Egypt are similar to the sun and earth. Without the sun there would be no earth and no life on earth and without the Nile there would be no life on Egypt. The Nile gave water so crops could grow and harvest, that is probably the most important gift of the Nile. Also the flood of the Nile was not bad, it was very good because it gave fertile soil. It also gave food and transportation.
