Lawn Mower

The blue lawn mower is the old version of the product, while the orange one is the new and improved one. The new type of lawn mower is (obviously) way better because the old one did not use a battery whatsoever, and the grass being cut ends up right back on your lawn. Over TIME, the FORM of the product has minimally changed. Consumers received INFORMATION on the product, and how nice it will make your grass look great. More people were buying (POSSESSION) from PLACES that sold the product. The product has changed because they realized that they didn't have anywhere to store the grass when its cut, so they added a compartment. They did this so the consumers grass would look more appealing. The target market for this product was for anyone who enjoyed lawn and garden stuff.

Baby Stroller

The baby stroller on the left is a vintage, yet well known old version of the product. The more safer and advanced looking product is new (Located on the right). The improved product is better because to stabilize the old carriage, thin, fragile metal bars were used, increasing the risk of the baby falling out. In the improved product, metal bars are stronger, thicker, and sturdier, also involving straps for extra safety and support. Over TIME, the FORM of the baby carriage evolved when companies got INFORMATION from their target market on what they should do to the product before they buy it (POSSESSION) and what PLACE would be better to sell the product. They changed it because there were many injuries in the old stroller. They created another safer stroller so babies would be safer. The safety of the strollers appeals to consumers, and makes more profit for the business. The target market is for mothers and expecting mothers.

Iron

Okay, this one is a no-brainer as to which one is new and which one is old. The "new and and improved" edition of this product is better because it is eco-friendly, using the renewable resource water to power it up for a fresh looking piece of clothing. Over TIME, the FORM of the iron has minimally changed. Most people buy this (POSSESSION) because their clothing are wrinkly. As the iron developed, more people started receiving INFORMATION about it, and which PLACE they can buy it at. The company modified the iron because the old version of the iron was rusty, heavy, and troublesome. They knew that no one would buy their product if it was basically...useless. To get more money, companies created ways to make irons appeal to their target market to get more profit. The target market for this product is for everyone who doesn't want a wrinkly shirt.

Vacuum Cleaner

Again, it doesn't take a brain to figure out that the crazy, complicated, contraption on the left is the old one. While the more more appealing, simple vacuum is on the right. The new version of the vacuum is better than the old one, because the older type took many nooks and crannies before it started working, while on the new one, you press a button or two and it does all the work itself. The new product addresses how TIME and FORM changed, due to the fact of how different these vacuums look. It addresses INFORMATION and POSSESSION, because when the companies advertise the product to appeal to the consumer, the consumer will feel intrigued to buy it at a PLACE that sells the product. The companies who make vacuums changed the product so there would not be a hassle to power the vacuum. They also noticed that most of their target market buys based off of design, so they made their product more appealing. Lastly, they made it easier for lazy people, because they created self-cleaning vacuums. The target market changed over the years because people changed their interests and went from buying mediocre vacuums to more simple, advanced vacuums.

Water Kettle

Just for the confused ones out there, the rusty, black kettle on the left is the old, prehistoric version of the product, while the more efficient, nicer looking kettle is on the right. The " new and improved" version of the kettle is better, because it includes a handle to prevent hand burns, and a spout for a better chance of the liquid in the kettle to get into the cup. Over TIME, the FORM of the kettle has evolved. Example: The kettle slowly went from being a big black pot, to a simpler pitcher-like appliance. Kettles are sold in many PLACEs, such as Bed bath and Beyond, Target, Walmart, etc. People who are in POSSESSION of this product are usually satisfied with the efficiency of it. If a consumer wanted more INFORMATION on a product, they would go online or get store emails. The target market is for everyone, because this is a common appliance found in homes.
