I just want to thank you for being such a great teacher, and I loved the jokes you make in class(hahah I could still remember the bad situation=SHITuation one).

Hi! We may not be able to meet in person, but I, Nathan, want to wish you happy teachers day! In my opinion, I feel that you deserve this message as it brings joy to you!

Firstly, by wishing you happy teachers day, it can help you through these tough times! The current COVID 19 situation has brought much inconvienice to everyone, and it is important to say mentally strong during this period! This means that your state of mineld will be definitely (USE OF PERSUASIVE WORDS!!!!) be better after reading this essay by your ex student. Thus, wishing you happy teachers day will help improve your mood.

Secondly, this also helps maintain relationships between us! We can keep it contact, making sure the other is well. This means that we will not lose this relationship over time. This is most definitely a useful way to maintain ties!

In conclusion, wishing you happy teachers day not only drastically improves your mood but also helps keep relationships over time! Thus, wishing you happy teachers day is all the more essential on these trying times.

This is by Nathan, written using the perusasuive essay methods taught by my very highly sarcastic, Sec 2 English teacher. I hope you are doing well, and once again, Happy. Teachers. Day! 😁😁😁😁

Thank you for your kindness, dedication, and creativity you displayed during the two years you taught us. It has been quite a while since I first sat for your class back in Primary 5. On hindsight, after four years, I feel that I have grown a lot. The values you taught me has really positively affected what I do in life. Although I am in Secondary school now, I always have looked back at those English lessons in primary school fondly.
As Michael Josephson eloquently puts it: "The light at the end of the tunnel is your life; it's the tunnel that's temporary." The constant chiding about my lateness, messy desk and talkativeness(that may still be present now XD), all contributed to impart many important values and lessons to me. Although I have learnt a lot during these two years of secondary school and believe that I have grown in many ways, I’ll never forget the days I spent with all of you. The time spent with 6/5 is really really close to my heart and will remain there forever. Thank you, Mrs Reyes, for guiding me through that impressionable period.

Lastly, as Richard Paul Evans expertly put it: “It is often in the darkest skies that we see the brightest stars.” I hope that you will be able to stay strong and persevere through this tough time.

I know it has been a hard time for you so far. I really wish that this platform would give you happy memories.

Happy Teachers' Day Mrs Reyes, you have been one of my best English teachers I have ever met. I can still remember the amount of effort you have placed. You have guided us through our major milestone. As Malala Yousafzai once said, “One child, one teacher, one book, one pen can change the world.” You have been the teacher in our Primary 5 - Primary 6 lives and I would like to say Thank You for all the work you have done for us. Your hard work hasn't gone to waste.

During this pandemic, our lives have been greatly affected. The wearing of masks became mandatory for all Singaporeans. I have seen that teachers have been working hard as they want their students' learning to not be affected. Online lessons have been conducted through platforms such as Google Meet and Zoom. I can see the hard word all the teachers have placed to make sure that their students would never walk alone. Teachers also have to wear face masks or face shields while teaching, which actually makes them feel uncomfortable under the hot and humid weather climate in Singapore. Although you did not teach us during COvID-19, I sense the strong passion within you, and I recognise your efforts when teaching us.

I acknowledge that our class has brought much inconvenience to you. I know that our class was not the best and easiest class to teach, but through your humor and interesting techniques you have shared with us, your never-say-die spirit has paid off, as we have not let you down in our studies. Stay strong!

~ Wei Han

Happy Teachers' Day!
Thank you for making lessons so fun and enjoyable in our last 2 years in Primary School. I really miss the times when we, as a whole class, went crazy together.

I remember the time when I first heard that you were going to teach our class English...I was kind of afraid of having you, a former discipline mistress, teach our class. However, after getting to know you better, I realised that you weren't too bad. Your lessons are always so interesting and fun even though I hated those daily spellings...
Anyways, being in Secondary School, I actually miss those daily spellings. Now subjects have become heavier and I really miss your lessons...

It's a pity that we are unable to meet this year but I would never forget that you were that CRAZY teacher who cursed during lessons...HAHA... but just know that you are a good teacher (the Best English teacher to be exact). I know that you are having a hard time now but it's okayyy. Things will only get better as long as you never give up. Thank you for everything you have done and thank you for being a part of my Primary School life.
HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY MRS REYES!! :)
파이팅!!!
~ Louis

Happy teachers' day!
To me, you are still and will always be our teacher.
I still can fathom how it has been 2 years since we were in 6/5. Time has passed so quickly and we are all already in sec 2. However, my P5 and p6 years were the best. Thank you for being a part of it to make it so memorable. I still miss the days we would hear your sarcastic and punny jokes during English lesson or get some moral advice from you. Whatever it was, I miss it and I appreciate it. I am very grateful for all the values and lessons you have "lectured" us on.
Thank you for being so patient, supportive, encouraging, funny, friendly, and so much more with our class. Thank you for being so supportive and backing us up for all that we do, academics or not. I am confident to say we are very lucky and happy to have had you. Even now, I still miss your lessons and our whole bubbly class environment you created during the lessons. Secondary school is simply not the same, perhaps partly due to my high standards ever since the 6/5 experience :)
I hope that you too, continue to enjoy your classes and make a greater impact on other students too, just like you did for us! My prayers and wishes are with your family and I hope all is well. 6/5 is always here for you, just like how you are for us ;)
Thank you for enriching my primary school years and greatly impacting my life! (#characterdevelopmemt). You are one of the teachers I look up to and I greatly admire you deep passion you spread to all of us.
Although I am not confident to say that my handwriting has improved significantly, I am still taking your advice to ensure it is ✨legible✨.
Thank you Mrs Reyes for the love you have given me and 6/5.
May you and your family always be in good health, and stay happy always.
Love,
Rianne.

Thank you for being an unforgettable English teacher in Primary school. Those 2 years were one of the most important years due to PSLE, and you helped me achieve good results with your creativity and humour throughout the years, allowing me to pay attention to class.

Happy teachers' day!!! Thank you for the guidance you provided in the last, stressful years of our primary school education. They have not gone to waste! I hope that you are doing okay in these stressful times, and I'm sure that they will be over. Stay strong and know that we all miss you very much! The times we went through in primary school are fondly cherished by me, and your lessons are not forgotten(I think). Once again, although this is rather cliche, I mean it sincerely; thank you and happy teachers' day!
isaac tan

Happy teachers' day! Thank you for your dedication to teaching us which enabled us to strike a balance between disciplined and fun and this made lessons very enjoyable and engaging for me as well as the entire class. Your passion has guided me and made my last two years in primary school so unforgettable. Although it has been almost 2 years since the last time we stepped into the 6/5 classroom, I still remember your those days vividly. Although I have grown a lot, I dearly miss the great memories we had together as a class. Unfortunately, we are unable to meet this year due to the COVID-19 restrictions but it will soon be over. Stay healthy, stay strong, and have a wonderful teachers' day!
Ruojin
