Through a partnership with an ambulance service located in Nevada, Flirtey can now deliver AEDs to cardiac arrest emergency scenes. The delivery drone, aptly named the Flirtey Eagle, has the ability to save lives by rapidly delivering user-friendly AEDs through GPS navigation technology. When a cardiac arrest occurs, emergency operators now dispatch both the Flirtey Eagle drone and ambulance sevices. The drone delivers the AED so that bystanders can administer lifesaving treatments as quickly as possible before first responders even arrive on the scene. Using a hover and drop down technology, the drone never has to actually land at the site. The drones also utilize video technology to assess patients and communicate with bystanders.

Although it takes a financial investment to get a medical drone delivery program operational, drone technology is relatively inexpensive compared to its potential to save lives. In medical emergencies such as cardiac arrests, opioid overdoses, and life-threatening allergic reactions, time is critical to survival and recovery. The Flirtey Eagle drone has the potential to deliver AEDs, Narcan, and EpiPens into the hands of bystanders within minutes. Medical drones can deliver help anytime regardless of traffic, trains, or wrecks.
          Just imagine how quickly an AED could be delivered by drone technology on a busy New York City afternoon. An ambulance might be stuck in rush hour traffic on 5th Avenue while the AED pads are already being attached to a patient on the scene thanks to Flirtey's current innovation. This technology, a true example of excellence in innovation, can save lives in both rural and urban environments where minutes truly matter!
