Why- To try to save lives, property and belongings! To reduce risks of future occurrence. To fix the problem before it gets worse. Bushfire plans put in place in order to reduce risk (eg. Removal of flammable materials in homes, backburning)

Where- To a safe location somewhat nearby the disaster. How they are prepared to save the people plays a role in this.

When- Support services should be called as soon as possible. Evacuation decisions will be made when the right time comes or when safety is a concern.

Who- Services such as ambulances, firebrigades, SES and local/state police are called for support.
