In our generation nowadays, technological devices has already became a big part of most of our lives. Cellphones, computers, and all kinds of technological devices help us connect to others but they also drive as a part. It is undeniable that technology has wonderful things to keep us in communication with each other, but little aid we know ,it is already reducing our face-to-face to our friends ,to the people that need our attention and most especially,to our family at home. Home is suppose to be a place where families can have quality time together but because of technology, the real essence of family time is now starting to fade away. We tend to be more focused on our devices rather than having a face-to-face conversation with our family. We have been so focused on the tiny screen that we forget the big picture, the people right in front of us. To mest of us, being alone is never a problem as long as we have our mobile phone with us. We use these devices to put our attention to whatever we want to be and that is the negative thing about it, technology gives us the idea that being alone will always be fine that is why sometimes, even if we are with someone, we still have our own world focused on the tiny screen and if possible, we never want to get distracted that is what makes us disconnected to the people who is nearly connected to us because of what technology brings. Technology not just merely disconnecting us but it also changes the way we think and how we think about ourselves. We define ourselves by sharing our thoughts and feelings to the social. We put everything in social media because we believe that though sharing, the world will know that we really are and that is what push us to the idea that "2 share therefore 2am." Technology also diverts our attention to less important things. We are so stuck on our mobile phones most of the time that it already limits our physical activities and our time to the people right infront of us. As a member of the new generation where in technology has already became a part of our everyday lives, that we couldn't last a day without spending time on our mobile phones of social media, online games etc. 2 can say that most of the time when 2'm at home, 2 don't feel like 2'm at home because everyone has their own world, holding their own mobile phones. And because of that, 2'm starting to miss the old bondings that we used to have time when we only have nothing but the television in our living room. Because of technology 2've learn how to deal with own loneliness though social media and little by little, 2've already practiced the feeling of being alone but with the presence of my mobile phone but because of that practice, 2'm now starting to be totally disconnected with anyone. But it shouldn't be like that, thanks to that video because 2'm come with a realization that sometimes, you have to disconnect to stay connected.
