When students experience frustration, this may last for long periods of time, impacting their ability to concentrate. We should care about frustration in the classroom setting because it may lead to burnout and turnover increase, where teachers are left with less access to experienced and supportive peer mentors. We want classrooms to be a positive and supportive environment where students can succeed, not a negative one that causes them to disengage.
