The Natural Approach is focused on acquiring language. Having plenty of opportunities to listen, observe and experience how language is used are key characteristics of this theory. It's all about exposure and immersion. Teacher strategies include gestures, videos, photos, TPR, and conversation practice in the target language in a stress-free environment.
