Hello! My name is Madeline. I am from Biloxi, MS. I am a Junior at MGCCC and I am currently working on my bachelor's degree for Elementary Education. I am currently an assistant teacher at public school in PreK 4. I love being off on the weekends now to spend more time with my family. I am 27 years old and worked at one of the casino's here on the Mississippi coast for seven years. I am so blessed to have the opportunity to be out of that environment and into the classroom where feels more like home.

Future Goals

I really love the Mississippi Gulf Coast, not only because I am from here but because it has so much to offer for my future. I plan on attending University of Southern Miss in Spring 2025. I am going to get my degree in Elementary education that way I can experience grades K-6. I love my babies in Prek 4 and am so thankful for this experience with them the last two years.

Teaching Goals

I currently have no plans on specializing in a certain subject. I do have more science courses and could teach biology or teach social studies once I have my bachelors degree. I have given some thought into becoming a speech pathologist, but I am taking things day by day and trying to not get too ahead of myself for now.

This is my husband! He and I just got married December of 2023. We love to go camping, bike riding, traveling, and anything that involves being outside! I am so thankful to have him because I would not be able to be in school if not for his support.

Celebrity look alike!

I have been told that I resemble Jennifer Aniston. It is such a compliment, I think she is beautiful and I do love the show Friends!

What's on your bucket list and why?

My husband and I have a goal to visit all the National Parks and camp at each one. That is on my Bucket list because I have already started and visited three 4 Parks! Grand Canyon, Big Bend, Sequoia, and The Smokey mountains.

I would love to have my work done ahead of time and stay on top of it way before the due date. I want to make connections with other classmates and be able to help each other out as well. I also like to communicate with our teacher whenever I am having trouble with something.
