Yashira: An increase in hate crimes towards Asian-Americans can be linked to Trump's referrals to COVID-19 as the 'China Virus" Uprising a lot of resentment towards the Asian community.
Jeremy:Ethnicity for sure is not a virus, this shows how certain remarks can affect a community's well being, also how other people perceive them.

Sam: Trump is largely to blame for the spike in hate crimes against AAPI due to his irresponsible use of phrases like "China virus" or "kung flu" which wrongfully implied that Chinese people were responsible for COVID-19.
