According to the Avert, there are more than 440,000 Thai people are living with HIV. And after sub-Saharan Africa, Asia becomes the region with the largest number of people living with HIV. More importantly, Thailand occupies people who are living with HIV at least 9% (“HIV And AIDS in Thailand”). As a result, it is urgent and significantly important for the Thai government to solve and standardize the sex industry in Thailand due to the widespread infection to HIV/AIDS of Thai people.

“HIV And Aids in Thailand.” Avert.
