         <description><![CDATA[<div>I would say it's similar to "next to god of course america i" because they both use some pretty confusing wording that makes you think deeply about the poem. To me, it seems pretty different from The Catcher in the Rye. That book uses language that people speak with. This poem doesn't use the language style people use to speak, and it is much more complex than The Catcher in the Rye.</div>]]></description>

I think he is using these words to show us how there are still some things that will not change, as life moves on.          <description><![CDATA[<div>This might not be right, but to me, it seems like the poem is referring to a town where the kids used to be happy and enjoy life, but as they grew up, they went through tragedies and feel like not a lot of people care about them anymore.  What makes the poem sad is that it feels like its theme is how the world corrupts children's innocent minds and that over time, good things eventually fade and are only temporary.</div>]]></description>
