are all stages shown in the link I have chosen, Denial & Isolation is when you learn about that it's happening. Anger is when your rage have pain. Bargaining The normal reaction to feelings of helplessness and vulnerability is often a need to regain control through a series of “If only” statements, such as. Two types of depression are associated with mourning. The first one is a reaction to practical implications relating to the loss. Sadness and regret predominate this type of depression. Acceptance, Reaching this stage of grieving is a gift not afforded to everyone. Death may be sudden and unexpected or we may never see beyond our anger or denial. It is not necessarily a mark of bravery to resist the inevitable and to deny ourselves the opportunity to make our peace

What I learned from this link I have chosen is that children around a certain age like 3-4 don't understand death or grief, but children around 9-10 (maybe younger) understand grief and go through these stages shown of grief. Children thrive when they are told what to expect and are allowed to participate in the commemoration of loved ones. When children and adults are encouraged to develop creative, personalized rituals, it helps everyone find comfort during the sad times. At the Resource Center, we ask children to draw or write a description of their favorite memory of the person who died.
