Bookmarks by Erika Glave https://padlet.com/ecantuglave/Bookmarks Made with big dreams en-us 2016-10-31 16:54:44 UTC 2016-10-31 17:05:54 UTC hello@padlet.com I greet all of my music classes in the hallway.  I remind them of my expectations before they come into the classroom and I greet each of them individually with sign language for either good morning or good afternoon.  The quietly proceed in and come in around the circle.  K , 1 and 2 classes sing a "come and make a circle" song that I made up.  When they are done they sit and we sing "It's so good to see you" and tap a steady beat on different parts of their body.  After they have done so, we then do echo clapping of varied rhythms and echo singing of solfege.   After those routines, I then tell each class what we will be doing that day and what the goals are.  They are also reminded of my classroom expectations which are as follows.
