The Boulder Beach Penguins are an endangered species of penguin. They are losing ground to live on every day! We need to save the penguins. Are challenge is to create a house that can last 20 minutes in a heat box without losing more that 30% of are penguins ice. How can I design and design and build a shelter that reduces heat transfer and keeps my ice cube penguin from melting?

The metal tray felt colder that the plastic tray so we will use metal to keep the hosue cooler. The metal spoon is more of a conductor while the plastic spoon is more of an insulator so we will use plastic roof and walls. The black roof held heat better than the mylar roof so we will use a mylar roof. The floor tends to be cooler that the attic so we will try to keep the attic cool.

I would have added even more layers of insulation on the inside. So that was a sucess and some failures were the percent loss for the prototype. I would change things such as add more layers again and add more insulation to the roof and the floor.
Our final percent loss is: 22 %
