Today I read the poem Sick in the book Where The Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein. The skill I worked on today is conflict and resolution. The conflict in the poem is that Peggy Ann McKay doesn't want to go to school so she pretends to be sick. In the poem she gives a long list of symptoms like "My hip hurts when I move my chin", and " My belly button's caving in". The resolution in the poem is Peggy Ann McKay figures out it's Saturday and she doesn't have to go to school.

Today I read The Dog & His Master's Dinner, a Fable by The AEsop for Children. I am practicing predictiction. I predict that the dog is going to get in trouble for eating his masters dinner. My prediction was wrong and right. The dog carried his masters dinner home faithfully every evening in a basket. All the dogs in the neighborhood would follow him trying to steal it. One day the dog stopped to argue with the other dogs and gave in to his temptation and ate his master meat. The moral of the story do not stop to argue it will help you give into temptations.

The conflict is the prankster moved the principals car to the front entrance stairs of the school and no one could get in. The resolution the principal came up with was for everyone to climb through the car and out into the school. But the best resolution was for everyone to go in through the back door. The was shown when his car was a mess after a line of kids climbed through it.

Junior and Laura had to work at there they were servants and they had to deliver soup to room 53 but what they didn't know in that room there was a giant who had a dragon behind him. He demanded for a spoon so Junior had to find one the knights did not wash there dishes so Junior had to pull the spoon out of the stone. and after the story ends it says " anyone who wants to be important among you must be a servant " so the theme is to always sever others

Then Junior , Cool Hand Cuke * im going to call him CHC * , and Hot Hand Tomato * same im calling him HHT * selled tons of eggs and got RICH. But there was a kid named Ping and his would not grow. A year passed by and all the kids had beautiful flowers but not Ping his pot was empty. I am practicing theme. I think that the theme of this story is to always tell the truth even though you might get in trouble because truth is always best.

On this page there is a Habitat Map that is color coded with a map key that shows where each mammal lives in the world. I have finished reading all 9 chapters of The empty Envelope. To summarize the book, 🤬 had been gettiing envelopes in the mail. The fifth one made him curios because it did not have a letter inside. They try to find out who the lettersw belong to. Then a lady calls him looking for the letters. He says he has them and the lady comes over. But then they cant find the letters. The find out there is a stamp under the mailing stamp on th eenvelope. The stamp is worth $50 thousand. They call the hotel where the crooks are and Rosa tells them to meet her at the library. Officer Fallon is waiting for them to take them to jail.
