Air:

Temperature:

How do living things in the environment interact with one another?

-Predators (examples-Lions) will hunt deers to control the population of them. If there are too many deers , they will feed on too much grass that there will be no more grass for the other smaller grass eaters to feed on.Thus this will cause the lack of enough food for other smaller grass eaters (those that cannot reproduce in time), causing them to slowly die out and extinct.

How do the living things interact with non-living things?

-Termites are a decomposers in the grasslands . They consume dead plant matter and produce which is released back into the soil.

FOOD................Thanks to the large diversity of animals living in the ocean , food is easy to find

Light

Light is used by plants in the ocean to carry out photosynthesis. Lesser amounts of sunlight enter the ocean than on land. The deeper the part of the ocean is, the lesser the amount of sunlight there is. Thus, the deep parts of the ocean may not be suitable for plants.

Other organisms

Other organisms in the ocean depend on one another to survive. Some organisms provide air or food. Some organisms depend on one another for safety against predators. When one of the organisms are gone, it can disrupt ecosystems and can even affect other ecosystems.

Water

Water is abundant in oceans. All living things need water to survive. Some animals in the ocean need water to get air from it. Some animals in the ocean have unique features for them to swim in the water. Without water in the oceans, some living things would die from dehydration. Some living things need water to cool down.

Food

Food is important for all living things as they need food to survive. Plants make their own food using sunlight by carrying out photosynthesis. Some living things eat other living things to survive.

Air

Air can also be found in the oceans. Plants in the ocean produce oxygen when they carry out photosynthesis. All living things need air to survive. Some living things have gills to get the air from the water. Examples of those animals are fish. Other animals like mammals need to go to the surface of the ocean as they do not have gills. They have to get air by surfacing.

Temperature

Temperature is very important for living things. If it is too hot, living things will die of heat. If it is too cold, living things will freeze. Some animals living in the ocean need water as it helps them to cool down.
