         <description><![CDATA[<div>Hamdi ULUKAYA (Yogurt Industry Businessman)<br>Who is Hamdi Ulukaya?<br>Hamdi Ulukaya is the founder and CEO of Chobani, which is among the fastest growing and "10 Most Innovative Companies" of the last 10 years in the USA.<br>Ulukaya was born in a dairy producing family in the Ilic district of Erzincan. After coming to the United States to learn English, he bought a closed yogurt factory in the north of New York and increased annual sales from zero to over $ 1 billion in less than five years, making Chobani the fastest growing brand in the United States. Chobani ranked first in both "Food" and "Social Benefit" categories in the "Most Innovative Companies of the World 2017" list announced by Fast Company. Chobani was also included in the Fortune "Companies That Change the World" list covering all industries.<br>Ulukaya's vision for Chobani brought about a radical transformation, especially in the food industry. Founded with the vision of making quality food more accessible, Chobani transfers some of its profits to charitable activities since its establishment. To take this mission further, Ulukaya founded the “Chobani Incubator” (Chobani Incubation Center) in 2016 to support entrepreneurs in the food sector who value social benefits. In 2017, he founded the "Hamdi Ulukaya Initiative" to contribute to the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Turkey.<br>By signing "The Giving Pledge" in 2015, Ulukaya devoted a large part of his fortune to solving the global refugee crisis and established the "Tent Foundation" to provide better solutions to displaced people from all over the world. By bringing together 80 giant companies including Airbnb, Google, Ikea, LinkedIn, UPS and MasterCard, Ulukaya established a cooperation platform to help companies reach their goal of ending the refugee crisis. He was selected on the TIME 100 list for his work.</div>]]></description>
