Those children sing first in Russian and then in english. They are so serious and very very good.

The song is interpreted creatively, with musical accompaniment of the piano and xylophone. Children sing in both English and Greek. They are seated in a semicircle and this allows even greater sharing of the moment.

So, in this way, the activity becomes also an opportunity to exercise many music skills.

In this video there are a large group of children. They are happy to participate in this initiative. They sing in Catalan and everyone move their hands to the rhythm of the music. It’s really nice.

This video caught my attention because Italian is my mother tongue. Few people in the world study Italian and I was pleasantly surprised to see how in Croatia they committed themselves to singing the hello song in Italian. Nice job!

It's really moving. It's nice to see how music can be the glue of interaction and human confrontation. It is also interesting to see how one song is interpreted differently, depending on the school, practises and customs.

 For example, at Yereven’s school, children sing dancing with guitar. Instead, at Hastings’ school children are more composed and only move their arms. The same there is at University of Roma Tre in Rome. But the common point is that in both three videos everyone smile while they sing. 

We can define this project as universal: in this case who don't know English can understand the song, because the pupils also use the movements.

Institut de Ponts, Catalunya: in this video there are a lot of students, and this fact makes the simple choreography with arms and hands really nice to watch. Also the flag put on the stairs is a good symbol and a simple way to export culture.

It's exciting to see this video played in my university and in my department (Roma Tre). I felt nostalgic to see the time when we could still unite and be together, before the coronavirus.   It's nice to know that my university is participating in this educational project.

My name is Alessandra, I am a student of Roma Tre, I like so much the position of the children that I can see in the video. They are sitting on the ground as if they wanted to communicate welcome to the world. The melody is cheerful and stimulates to listener and repeat the words. The teacher is immersed among the children, she is actively participates in the song, the children are protagonists with the voice and body. I think that the music is a universal communication channel that allows everyone (adults and children) to express emotions.

This is the first time that I listen this beautiful language, thank you so much for Armenia school and this incredible students that they participated in the project. I listened their version of the song and I enjoyed a lot the two guitars. I think it's important for kids to get closer to studying a musical instrument. The music is useful to develop auditory sensitivity and creativity imagination, skills that can also be very useful in the study of a language.

One thing I liked about the video was that despite the fact that there were only a few kids, they still have made themselves heard. The music in the background was a good idea, it helped to give more depth to the message of the song. Seeing how this project has arrived in all parts of Europe gives hope and opens the mind on the importance of intercultural relations from which each of us can learn and derive the best for himself and for others.

I really liked the video, especially because it was made by my colleagues! Seeing them so excited and thrilled makes me realize the importance of what we’re doing with these projects in this lab. This is the video that impressed me the most because the Spanish pupils  seem to really have fun, they are also very coordinated and they sing and move to the rhythm. I particularly liked the final greeting with their hands and smiles on their faces, you can see that they cared about what they were doing. It’s a beautiful message of inclusion and active participation in this project.

Università degli Studi Roma Tre: I enjoyed watching and listening to the song interpreted in my language and and in my faculty. It made me feel belonged to the whole world.

This video was shot in the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Primary Education in RomeTre University. It is really fantastic to see my colleagues and my colleagues interpret the "Hello Song" and I like the idea that my University is active in participating in this project.

I particularly like this video. Boys and girls of different ages interpret the "Hello Song" in their own language accompanied by the melody of two guitars and all moving together to the rhythm of the music.

 

3)Mohammad Shamel Primary Public School, Beirut, Lebanon:

In this video, boys and girls interpret the "Hello Song" in both English and Arabic. They have the flag of Lebanon behind them and some of the girls wear the traditional Islamic headscarf, Hijab, but the difference in culture and religion disappears when we all try to communicate with the universal sign language.

It's fun to see my colleagues in the class of my University sing the Hello song. The singing is accompanied by the piano. It was nice to see the way pupils sing using the international hands language.

It was fun to see how the children of the Barton Hill Academy sang the Hello song because even though they are all small, they were very good at both singing and hand gestures.

In this video the thing that most caught my attention was the language with which the students sang the Hello song because I find Arabic a fascinating language. I also noticed that the melody used was different from the original song, but they were very good at synchronizing the gestures with their hands.
