One of the biggest forts being Fort Douaumont. Very many forts got destroyed. The water systems the forts had alowed each sodier have 5 liters of water a day but because of the damage done by the Germans it went down to an eighth of a liter per soldier. Like influencing Frances millitary and the people and government of France. I feel the win of this battle helped the France have hope. I know during this war everyon lost there moral but once they one it was like a weight has lifted the battle was over and France came out Victorius. I think the use of technology really efected the war. During this time the millitary's weapons were getting more and more advanced.
