Transylvania Inn has a terrace that offers a panoramic view of Bran.
You can also see Bran Castle and Râşnov Citadel from the terrace.
In the year 1377, King Louis I of Hungary allowed the Transylvanian Saxons of the Braşov region to build a Castle as a bulwark against northward expansion of the Ottoman Empire.
The building of the castle was finished by the year 1388; it was also used as a customs house for Transylvania, then as a province of Hungary.
That castle is known as Dracula's Castle or Bran Castle.
After we got situated in our rooms, we headed out to explore Râşnov and Bran Castle on a private trip, with round-trip transportation.
We saw the ancient citadel of Râşnov and the castle people associate with the legends of Dracula.
The scenery was breathtaking.
When the trip ended, we headed back to Transylvania Inn and rested after a long, exciting day.
