I thought about this phrase since I work every day in favor of my education and my future. I’m still unsure on exactly what I want to study but I’m leaning towards medicine, specifically pediatrics, which means I have to work hard to get good results in the IB program. I sometimes spend various hours a day doing schoolwork and have sacrificed sleep and free time to finish everything, explaining the “day and night”, for my dream of a good career and a good future.

Meaning: The expression is about success, saying that success is a staircase with many steps that as an IB student I'm going up.

Meaning: This expression refers to when you are so stressed or overwhelmed at studying for an exam and wanting to get a 7 on the IB scale that you forget to have time for yourself and you make all your activities related to high school, the reference at 7 following you contributes to indicate that you should not let the stress of getting an outstanding grade make you forget the other
important things in your life.

Meaning: That you are something/ someone who is annoying.
