Sparky the Wonder Dog

Bella’s dog Sparky likes to run and explore. Bella thinks that Sparky is like a magician. One moment Sparky is in the backyard and then, all of a sudden, he’s gone! 

Sparky escaped again last week, so Bella set out to find him. She called out Sparky’s name as she walked. Bella even shook Sparky’s bag of dog chow. “Treats! Treats!” yelled Bella. Sparky loved his treats, but he did not appear. 

Then Bella stopped. She smelled some meat grilling. She spotted a cloud of smoke from behind a house. Bella headed there and peeked in the yard. Sure enough, there was Sparky. He stood on his hind legs in front of a grill. Sparky was whistling and flipping burgers. Bella could see Sparky’s mouth drool. Bella wondered where Sparky got the apron he was wearing. 

There is the delicious food:banh chung,banh Tét and banh gio ,there is lucky money for kids.We also have the lanterns to decorate everywhere!The two are not the best outstanding flowers in Tết are peach blossom and apricot blossom.The best in Tết holiday is lucky money because I have 5 million VND last year.I think Tết holiday is the best day ever!

Every year on September 2nd, people all over the country come together to remember this important day.

There are colorful parades, fireworks, and music that make the day very exciting.

I love seeing the streets decorated with flags and flowers.

My school has many contests to celebrate that day, for example drawing, painting, designing and historical contests.

My family goes to the hotels and visits many nice places and restaurants to enjoy the holiday. We also have a special meal with traditional Vietnamese dishes. In the evening, we go out to watch the parade because we really love the festive atmosphere.

This holiday makes me feel proud of my country and its history.

(Tip:Don’t forget to put a glass of milk with cookies so Santa don’t feel hungry.)

My favorite holiday is Tet the traditional holiday of Viet Nam.This holiday is on the first day in the lunar calendar.On that day,first me and my mom go to buy peach blossom to celebrate Tet.Next,I go to my hometown to eat the feast.At my hometown,I eat chung cake and get lucky money.Last,I go to the first university in Viet Nam.My favorite holiday is Tet how about you?

During Tết, we can visit our hometown. We also buy lanterns and other decorations to make our house look beautiful. Blossom and kumquat trees are two famous symbols of Tết.

We enjoy many delicious foods too. In the North, people eat bánh chưng, while in the South, people eat bánh tét.

On the night of December 31st, at midnight, we eat chicken and watch fireworks. We can even buy fireworks and set them off ourselves. The next day, I visit my relatives and receive lucky money.

This Independence Day is September 2nd every year. This year is the 80th anniversary of Vietnam's National Day. Since is a Viet Nam holiday , we don't have to go to school and four day off.

In the first day, we go to the Sword Lake. The streets are filled with Vietnamese flags everywhere. There are many tourists coming here.

In the second day, we go to the military museum. I can see a lot of military vehicles, fighter planes, tanks, missiles,...

In the third day, we go to Uncle Ho's museum and have lots of beautiful picture.

In the last day of Vietnamese Independence Day, my family go outside to watch the Viet Nam's parade. I can see lots of soldiers. Next we go to the walking street to join the night fair and watch the fireworks. My favorite holiday is Vietnamese Independence Day , how about you ?

Today, Halloween has become a fun and colorful celebration for both children and adults. Weeks before the festival, people start decorating their houses with pumpkins, skeletons, bats, and cobwebs to create a spooky atmosphere. Children dress up in creative costumes, such as witches, vampires, superheroes, or even funny characters from cartoons. They go door to door in their neighborhoods to play “trick or treat,” collecting candies, chocolates, and small toys.

Many families enjoy carving faces on pumpkins to make jack-o’-lanterns and placing candles inside them to glow at night. Schools and communities often organize costume contests, haunted houses, and Halloween parties with games, music, and scary stories. Some people also like watching horror movies with friends to feel the mysterious spirit of the night.

Although Halloween is full of scary images, it is mainly a time for fun, imagination, and togetherness. It brings joy to children, creativity to adults, and a sense of community to everyone who takes part in it.

During Tet, family members gather to pay respect to their ancestors, exchange warm wishes, and spend time together. Children look forward to receiving lì xì, or lucky money in red envelopes, which symbolizes health, success, and growth in the coming year. In addition, Tet features joyful activities such as lion dances, fireworks, and folk games that bring communities closer together.

For me, Tet is not only a joyful holiday but also a meaningful tradition that reflects the values of family, respect, and hope. It reminds me of the importance of cultural heritage while giving me a sense of pride in being Vietnamese. Tet is a celebration of both the past and the future, making it my most beloved festival

Lunar year.The first reason is because we can stay at home to play and talk with our family.I feel comfortable with this.The main reason is I can go to my hometown and meet my grandparents. I miss they for 1 year.I feel happy and enjoy my Hello Kitty bed. I can also meet my relatives in my hometown. The last reason is I can have lucky money. I can use that money to buy toys or school supplies.Three reason above make me really love Tet holiday.
