I personally think that restorative justice is having a voice, not automatic punishments. Having a voice can change a lot. Let’s say I hit a baseball and break a window. I get suspended, and I haven’t said anything. Is this fair? I don’t think so. Because if you were paying attention, I never got to explain that it was an accident and not on purpose. The children have a voice, they aren’t mindless learning slaves. Vote for equality! The children must respect their teacher, and in turn the teacher respects the children. The children should also be grateful that the teachers are going to given the m the gift of knowledge.
