Mayor Lightfoot has gotten Covid recently, but she didn't need to go to the hospital. She credits the vaccines because she has gotten 2 shots and the booster. That Hong Kong will be free from China. People from Hong Kong are arrested for speaking out. My uncle was one of them. He spoke out against the Chinese Government, and was beaten. He had a broken leg for months. After that incident, the Hong Kong policemen (who are under the Chinese Government) broke into his house and arrested him. He’s been in jail for about 1 year and a half. 
I feel like it’s important because most people don’t really care about Hong Kong, and what’s happening there.

We were given the most powerful place on Earth, and we need to use that to keep the world as it should be: green and living. If the animals die, then our food source will lower. If the water is contaminated, then we cannot drink water unless it is rainwater. Then our vegetable+fruit plants will die, which will be our only food source. My dream is that poverty will be erased.  In 2019, 1 in 7 children were in poverty. I think this isn't very nice. Those kids have potential, entire lives ahead of them! So we need to erase poverty.

I have a dream where women are treated the same as men. I read an article a few months ago, it said that the Women's National Soccer Team (WNT) was getting paid less than the Men’s National Team (MNT), even though they are much better than the Men’s Team. They were ranked Number 1 in the world, but I guess it wasn’t good enough. Also according to a class action lawsuit, the players were not treated as equals to the MNT. I don’t think that just because you are a man you should get better treatment. I feel that the better you play the more money you should make. All I want is for people to understand that just because I am a woman it doesn’t mean I am any less capable than a man and I shouldn’t be treated differently.
