human interaction with the environment was very thoughtless of the environment itself by polluting the water, using fossil fuels, and were overusing wood and other resources but soon after they realized what they were doing to the resources and environment humans began to limit resource gathering by forcing settlers in pennsylvania to keep one acre of trees, shoguns in china urging others to plant tree seedlings, germany forbid further forest removal to prevent deforestation.

In 1801-1968 people lost their jobs, the government put tariffs on grain, and the passenger pigeon went extinct. They mainly used wood, coal, sun energy, and steam from water. The Dust Bowl occurrence is an event that caused drought, and caused things to get worse. However they did have animal protection plans, and Peter Hermann discovers DDT to control animal borne diseases.

Also there cutting down trees and the owls don't have homes which is causing more owls to die each day. Sources of energy they were using are wood, animals, gas, and coal.

We tried to fix the deforestation problem in Germany, but in Pennsylvania, they were just starting deforestation to build an urban area

Some ways we could improve these problems are cleaning up trash on the beach as needed, recycling what need to be, and maybe even try using our sources wisely.

In this generation around 2006 we became very aware of climate change. There was an earthquake and tsunami in China, it caused major damage. If natural disasters are this bad now, how bad will they be in the future? Oil spills have also been happening more recently, and it's very dangerous to marine life. The polar ice caps have been thermally degenerating and will cause the oceans to rise, eventually covering our current coasts.
