Test taking strategies

I chose this video because it teaches you about different test taking strategies. I, myself need some new test taking strategies. While watching this video I learned that writing stuff down can be very helpful to memory. It should be written or said at last three times for it to go into the long term memory part of your brain. That is why commercials usually have someone say their phone number three times before it ends. So do something three times for it to go into your long term memory.

Inside The Mind of a Procrastinator

I chose this video because it shows how I think. It also has to deal with your priorities and how you think things through. For example of you're a procrastinator and you have something that's due in a month, you're going to wait until a couple days before it's due to start it. Compared to someone else who doesn't procrastinate, they want to get it done now so they don't have to worry about it later. It's all about how you think, but anyone get to decide their priorities and if school isn't one of them, you won't excel. You can still do well. it just won't be your best work or effort.

How to Fix Procrastination

I included this video because of the other video I used that talks about procrastination. Since the other one makes you realize you aren't the only one who thinks that way, this video is that help you fix your procrastination. One example of how to fix your procrastination is to not delay stuff anymore. If you stop putting stuff off and get it done now then you won't have to worry about it later. Stress is a big thing that plays into this. If you are stressed and need to put something off every once in a while, that's okay. Once it becomes a habit, it isn't okay.

I decided to include this article because it explains why we procrastinate, just like the video I included. Some people do better reading instead of listening, so it could benefit someone who has a different learning style.
