         <description><![CDATA[<p>Cosmology:</p><p>The material universe is secondary to the one true universe of the mind.</p><p><br/></p><p>Theology:</p><p>Idealism makes no claims about the existence of God as a being, but it does claim that there is an absolute reality outside of humanity. </p><p><br/></p><p>Anthropology:</p><p>Human beings see only the shadows of the truth through the physical world. However, they can grow closer to the Absolute Self through the cultivation of the mind and reason.</p><p><br/></p><p>Ontology:</p><p>The true substance of existence is thought and the mind. The body, physical matter, and the senses are not directly tied to the nature of existence.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Cosmology:</p><p>Reality and the universe are made up of physical matter.</p><p><br/></p><p>Theology:</p><p>The form of God can exist without physical matter.</p><p><br/></p><p>Anthropology:</p><p>Humanity is both an observer and a participant in reality. Humans may gain knowledge and experience, but the universe continues on regardless.</p><p><br/></p><p>Ontology:</p><p>Existence requires form, and physical matter cannot exist without that form.</p><p><br/></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Cosmology:</p><p>The universe was designed, and every effect in the universe has a cause. </p><p><br></p><p>Theology:</p><p>The is an Unmoved Mover, who designed the universe. One branch of Neo-Scholasticism claims this is the Christian God. God is reason.</p><p><br></p><p>Anthropology:</p><p>Humans are rational and are naturally drawn towards the truth of the universe.</p><p><br></p><p>Ontology:</p><p>Existence is reason.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Cosmology:</p><p>Humans can never know the absolute origin and nature of the universe. If it exists, it exists outside of the human observer. </p><p><br/></p><p>Theology:</p><p>The existence of God or a higher being is impossible to determine because it can not be shown through empirical methods.</p><p> </p><p>Anthropology:</p><p>Humans are only capable of knowing probability, not absolute truth.</p><p><br/></p><p>Ontology:</p><p>The nature of existence cannot be known, and what is "true" today may change tomorrow.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Cosmology:</p><p>There is no way to know the origin and nature of the universe because language is not an accurate reflection of reality.</p><p><br/></p><p>Theology:</p><p>The existence and nature of God exist only within the language people use to conceptualize those ideas.</p><p><br/></p><p>Anthropology:</p><p>Humans are unable to look at things objectively because their unique experiences and understanding of language will always influence their interpretations.</p><p><br/></p><p>Ontology:</p><p>Whoever holds the power to control language determines the nature of reality and existence.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Cosmology:</p><p>God is the originator and creator of the universe. The nature of the universe is to reflect God's glory and worship Him.</p><p><br></p><p>Theology:</p><p>God is the creator of all things, the ultimate source of truth, reason, and life. His work is reflected in everything He's made, and we can be in relationship with Him.</p><p><br></p><p>Anthropology:</p><p>Humans were created for relationship with God and others. However, the fall resulted in all humans being born with a sinful nature. Only through relationship with Christ can humans be redeemed and restored to their created purpose.</p><p><br></p><p>Ontology:</p><p>The nature of existence is dependent on God, His character, and His design.</p>]]></description>

It is found in the world of ideas - the world of reason.</p><p><br/></p><p>Validity:</p><p>Idealism finds its validity in the Coherence theory. Truth can be regarded as truth when it is universally agreed upon (eg. math).</p>]]></description>

If something is true, it will line up with the experience of the observer.</p>]]></description>

Things are true when they are self-evident and/or have internal logic.</p>]]></description>

So long as it is pragmatic, it is true. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Truth:</p><p>People can hold opinions, but they cannot know truth. "Truth," as we know it, is subjective and dependent upon human experience. Those in power may claim something as "true" or "false" by controlling the language around it.</p><p><br/></p><p>Source:</p><p>People can only "know" what they experience through their senses, intuition, and reason, but those are subjective sources due to human bias.</p><p><br/></p><p>Validity:</p><p>Different beliefs within postmodernism claim different validities for truth (commonly whatever is pragmatic).</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Truth:</p><p>There are two kinds of truth. There's Truth and truth. The first of these is objective, absolute, and exists outside human experience. The second is the knowledge gained through human experience, which is subject to flaws and change.</p><p><br/></p><p>Source:</p><p>Senses, revelation, reason, and intuition are all sources of truth. However, revelation stands first in the hierarchy of sources.</p><p><br/></p><p>Validity:</p><p>Validity of Truth follows both the Correspondence and Coherence theories. If a Truth does not line up with God's standard or, by extension, if it contradicts other Truths, it cannot be valid. Pragmatism is acceptable for certain truths (knowledge) as human information is ever-growing and changing.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Ethics:</p><p>Morality is determined by God and has many aspects, but it can be simplified into two main things. Love God and love people. Everything else is based on those two principles. </p><p><br/></p><p>Aesthetics: </p><p>While people and cultures have different perspectives on what is the most aesthetically pleasing in beauty and art, the morality of aesthetics is tied to whether or not it is honoring God. People can also interpret art that was meant to dishonor God in a way that honors Him instead, but that does not change what the art was made for.</p>]]></description>
