In the show Wednesday, on the first episode of season one, a kid she defended tried to kill her and it resulted in the attempted killer's death. This led her on a mission to understand why he wanted to kill her and what a picture from 30 years ago with her in it meant. She picked an event and began looking to see what causes led to this event.
