The third step is that we are parasites that made thier way into the human digestive track and the host drink contaminated the water and us as predators have to prey on micro species who have to live in the digestive track of the host. Now the fourth step is that we have to sit around the black paper that represents the small intestine and we all have to close are eyes for 5 seconds. And the fifth step Is after the end of 5 seconds the group members will immediately grap the fisrt micro that they see. The sixth step is to repeat all of this 10 times. When done put all of the collected microbes together and count the number each bean microbe that ALL members collected. Subtract the number from 20 ending population round 1 in table 1. Put all of the beans on the black paper. The black paper represents the environment of the small intestine.

Once your done, place all the collected microbes together and count the number of each bean type/microbe that ALL group members collected. After, subtract the number collected from 20, which was the starting population. Last, record the number of remaining microbes in the “Ending Population” for Round 1 in Table 1.

Replace all of the beans on the black paper and repeat all of the steps, 4-7 for the two additional rounds. Then, record the results For round 2 and 3 in Table 1.

To calculate the average for each microbe add the “Ending Population” for round 1, 2, and 3 together and divide by 3. Record the average in Table 1.

1.First get a black piece of paper and some beans , the beans represent different types of microbe sepecies and the black paper represents the environment of the small intestine.
2.You and your group members are parasites from contaminated water. You will sit on/around the black paper and close your eyes for 5 seconds, then you’ll open them and grab the first bean/microbe you see. You’ll repeat this sequence a total of 10 times. 
3.Once finished see how many beans/microbes you all collected and subtract it from 20, record the number of remaining microbes/beans in the “ending population”.Table 1
4.All the beans on the sheet and repeat for the rounds. For the second and third round put the info in Table 1.

Count and make sure you have 20 beans types given & record a discripton of each bean in Table 1.

Place all beans give on the black sheet of paper 

Then sit around the black paper, close your  eyes and count to 5.At the end  of the 5,seconds open your eyes and grab the first bean you see. ( repeat for 10 times)

Add all beans collected.Subtract that number from 20, ( repeat 2 more times), record the results on Table 1.

Calculate average for each microbe, add all your results  and divide by 3, record results in Table 1.
