Our essential question talks about how socioeconomic class affects those in the working class. The boy doesn't have a mother and an abusive father on top of living in a poor household. This leads to him possibly being disheveled and malnourished due to not having enough money to buy food, clothes, or basic hygienic needs. It also leads him to do dangerous and illegal activities such as stealing or mugging to survive. 2. This discussion setting went almost the same in terms of me speaking, but it was a lot easier to speak than campfires. We didn't have to worry about speaking over others and we each were able to have a turn speaking. 2. I am able to follow the play well when we are reading. It's not too hard to follow along, but when we act it out it causes some pauses which hinders my ability to follow the script.
3. The discussions we have helps me understand the play. It's nice to see other people's point of view and it sometimes answers questions I have of the play.
