I write telling you I have successfully made it to the new world. A ship will be making it's way back to England to pick up more people and supplies. you are welcome to join me here seeing as the coliney I've setteled in appears to be safe. We have found strange people running around during the night and watching us from the trees in the day, but we don't think much of it since we have guns and swords. Seeing as I couldn't give you a reason why I came seeing as James asked me last minute if I wanted to come. I chose to come because seeing as we are a farming family we will have lots of land so we can make money. I haven't had anytime to do that though because the govener kept making chop down trees and go fishing. I hope to see you soon.

I have finally arrived in the New World it is much better than I expected; I am working as hard as a can(being that I am a woman). We are fishing, hunting, and farming, but there are hardships being here. The climate is different from England, there are some people who run around practically naked and they have attacked us a few times, we still have not found gold, some of us are dealing with diseases that we got on the ride over here, and some are starving to death! But do not worry about me I am in good health and can't wait for the next ship to arrive with y'all!

As I have arrived in the New World I have realized that many hardships and obstacles await me.  There is alot of manual labor to be done around the colony and since I am not a man there are limited things I can do. Additionally, there are so many religions intertwined within the colony, and daily disareements that are hard to handle occur. Although life here maybe challenging I think back about want to come here for a new start to get out of the city life in London and it is all worth it.

I came here with the intention to craft a prosperous future for you all , and our future descendants , but there are more than a few impediments that may keep me from doing so. The temptation to say that the labor here is exceedingly overbearing , is alluring , but thousands of slaves have it so much worse. The labor here is definitely not the greatest challenge. The greatest challenge here  is having to choose between moral and my religion. Religion and moral usually go hand-in-hand , but over here religion is going aganist moral when slaves are involved. And meanwhile religion is said to be more important , id rather choose moral , and because so many people disagree with me , that scares me. I've seen how cruely they've been treated, and because of that not a day goes by without me worrying what would happen if any of you were to take their place.

We have arrived in the New World and the journey has been unbearable. We have been attacked by a few natives while working and we lost a lot of men on the journey. Its very hard working on the plantations and are living conditions are horrible. People are very sick. I have a old wood house and they aren't giving us enough food. Do not worry about me.
