Zelensky and Trump had already had a meeting in February, from which Zelensky left very mad, forhe treatment he receved. However, in thismeeting he left qute pleased with the received treatment and even thanked Trump several times in the meeting. In this meeting Trump assured Zelensky that the U.S. was going to help European countries provide protection to Ukraine, he was praised by European countries for the motion. I think, this isconvenient wicne he also adressed the tension caused by the steep tariffs. I mea, its great that Trump acts a mediator for this war, and that he wants to support Ukraine, and help Putin and Zeleznsky come to an agreement, but it doesn't finish to convince me. I feel Trump is still looking, after his own interests. Its like the say "a friend to all is a friend to none".

Trum originally wanted to arrange a meeting with Putin and Zelensky, however Putin denied to meet withthe Ukranian presidents, Zellensky. They met at a military base that had been used to counter Russia for a long time. He was received at the base with a red carpet.

In an interiew given lateron by Putin he praised Trump's efforts to end the war. He also said that "long-term conditions of peace betweeen our countries, and in Europe, and in the world as a whole. could be reached under an agreeement wit the U.S. on nuclear arm control. This gives me curiosity, because if we recall, the U.S. has been invovled in many wars, even if they weren't abouth them, in my opinion they arekind of the noseay lady. However, it always endsup participating in wars, to solve them, but a large percentage of U.S. economy comes from weapons. So, in a matter of speaking war benefits U.S's economy. Which takes me to think, is this agreemen with the U.S. on nuclear weapons control really benefitial, or is it a cover up, for something that benefits the U.S?

During the senate session of August 27th, there was a fight betweeen the presifnet of the Senate Nooña and the president of the PRI Alito. They both gave different to the iorigin of the agression, in my opinion both stories include some exaggerations and incoherencies. Alito stated that he as confronting Noroña, because he wnded the session wthout allowing hm tospeak, and for dsrespecting a woman legislator. While Noroña claimed that this was a premeditated. Hpwever, I think it is good that we know bothstories, because like Chamamanda Ngozie said, it is always importat to have more than one story. I agree, that this is not the best context, and the stories have burdens, however from both parts we can make ourselves a raw ide of what actually happened.

I do think that it is not good when this situation happen, it will ocassionate resentment, and division in the senate, which will probabl affect the desion making. It's like when parents fight, the tensio between them, passes on to the children, generating an uncomfortable environment.

Sep. 5 - Department of Justice changes its name, to the Department of War

Realism loks at everything with no idealism and focusing on facts. Fact: President Donald Trump was campigning for the Nobel Peace Prize, however, he sents an order to change the "Department of Defense" to be renamed as "The Department of War". During the signing ceremony of this order trump said: " We are going to go on offense, not just on defense".

I think this shows a quite agressive plan of action from the U.S., quite in contrast with the "american dream", which is a mere idealization and romantization of life in the U.S. , even though this idea was born a long time ago, I believe that most people think that licing in the U.S. is great. However, with this kind of decision and other recent events, at least I start to question myself if it is really that great to live inthe U.S. Since I always looked at people in the U.S. as "perfect", because that was what they showed in their book, movies, etc. But, with recent actions I'm starting to have amore critical perspective about them.

This was a very impacting news for the whole world. Personally I had no idea of who he was until I arrived at school and my friends showed me the video fo his death. From what I nkw know he was a person who had debates with young people about radical themes, like abortion, race, reproductive rights, gun posesión and so on. Although he had some very questionable ideals he was a great debater and was pretty convincing. I think that even though his ideal were questionable he didn't deserved to die the way he did. He was a a husband and father as well, poor thing of her daughter, she had to see the death of her own father, that really touched me.

Still I don't thinknhe should be glorifica for the way in which he died, what matters is how one loves, not how one dies.

In response to

The increasing deportación made by the U.S. President Caludia Sheinbaum announced the new measures that'lle be taken to provude support to the migrants. In this program president Sheinbqum asssured that all deported people will have access to "Bientestar" program benefits.

To me, although her intiative isngood I think the real way to solve thismproblem is by improving the working conditions here in Mexico, like the salaries, loans, paid vacations and working hours among others. I also don't like the concept of the government giving away money that is not really theirs, because that money is gathered by the rest of the people, and they are giving it away.

I also agree with Sheinbaum when she said that Mexicans form an important part of the US economy, nad that the USA will experience a crisis if they deport all migrants, because the USA is made by migrants.

She is known to be an environmental activist, hlwever she is also provvdiging humanitarias to Gaza citizens, however she was recently detained and deported by Israel. When she arrived to Greece she said " It is a shame that this mission has to exist". She also said that the lesders of their countries are not representing them because they support the genocidio, so individuals like her were forced to step up. Again, I say she is a very brave young woman, strog, sure of herself, and I just admire how shebacts so relentlessly.

As I begin to write this reflection I read "Write something pretty...", but I ain't writing something prett, this is reality for some people in Mexico. Bernardo Bravo was a social leader, Farmer, father. His body was found in the morning, inside his car. Like many others killed before he was an activist and he defended the rights of lemon producers. He reported repeated extorsions and threats made by the organized crime. As a result, e was killed, murdered for defending what is his right and dignity. I find this story and inspiring, as a victim of extorsion myself I know the psychological stress you can feel when being menaced by a cartel. That's why I cosnidered this man very brave, and I'm very sorry for his death. This makes me rage as well, how is it posible that the government is not protecting its own people, source of the economy in our country. It is the people the one that gives power, makes money, the workers that wake up at 4 a.m. to work in poor conditions, and get paid the minimum salaries. It is because of the lack of quality jobs, insecurity that people migrate or become criminals. If we give our youth the accesibility to a worthy life, maybe our country would be very different.

And today they are not different they have killed Carlos Manzo, governor of Uruapan, the shocking part is that they killed him in a public space, and that he had asked for support form the Federal Government to fight against the organized crime. He was the first governor of Uruapan who arrived independently to power. In this year organized crime has killed 10 municipal presidents. If I must say it again it is very sad that people that speak up for the injustices, and defend their people are killed. Before his dead Carlos Manzo said that fighting the organized crime was a responsibility of the federal government, and that they shouldn't leave Uruapan alone (they did).

The US Government used the song "All american-bitch" to promote autodeportation of migrants. To which Olivia Rodrigo reacted saying "don't ever use my songs to promote your racist, hateful propaganda". Her, like many other influential people in the music and acting industry have manifested theor disagreement with ICE deportations, inlcuding Pedro Pascal. I think, that it is disgusting to use song that as a teenage girl I like screaming in my room early in the morning to promote autodeportation of my people. I also question myself if the US government cared about the copyrights, because clearly they didn't consulted with miss Rodrigo the permission to use her song. By the other hand I think the US government achieved their goal quite effectively. If they were searching to generate controversy with these video, they certainly achieved it, first with the song they used, and it increased with the reaction of fans and Olivia. It is a very effective and dirty propaganda method. I also consider the use of the song inappropiate, because deportation, and harrassment cannot be romanticized or normalized. What looks cute in our screen is the torment of someone across it.

In November 15th the first manifestation against Sehinbaum's government took place in Mexico City. This protest was called "The March of Generation Z". This protest had the purpose of demandeing the revocation of President Sheinbaum. Revocation means that the current President surrenders their position and another elections take place. This was a t first a pacific protest, but at the end it starting getting a little bit violent, which was honestly a relief for me because people hitting the police is kind of normal. I was afraid it would end up like the protest of 2/10/1968.

I support the motion of this protest really, but I don't think the entire responsibility relies on Sheinbaum's shoulders it is the government as an institution, morena more than anything, I don't agree with their ideals. As a President I think Sheinbaum has dealt with some of the toughest times, in our country. But still I don't support her. She has humillated herself and women. When she said "...porque patria empieza con a de mujer." yes, it is funny, I laughed, but before being a president she was a respectful women of science. Now she's a joke, and the image of countles memes. How is it that Mexico's first women president is a joke? When she said all women got to presidency, I say, please don't. You are humillating women up there, she does not represent us.

Ricardo Salinas has said repeatedly that he will not pay his taxe because they wouldn't go to whom they're meant to. He says, that politicians would steal that money instead and not invest it to make better roads, or use them properly. This made a controversy, however most of the people supports Salinas, since it known thatso far the government has not used taxes money in the best way, and honestly I also agree.
