         <description><![CDATA[<div>As a limnologist I take samples to examine organisms and its interaction with its ecosystem. In this case, changes in oxygen content due to the break down of cyanobacteria by microbes will impact other organisms within the same system. The fish in the water will not be able to survive in the oxygen-deficient “dead zone” and therefore, are being impacted by cyanobacteria. This depletion will affect the fish’s internal system in its inability to get oxygen in the water through its gills. </div>]]></description>

They interact through chemical interactions because they require phosphorus from lawn fertilize to thrive. Without high levels of phosphorous, the living environment isn't suitable for the cyanobacteria. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[If one part of the system is altered then the rest of the system is affected. An example would be if the level of phosphorus is low then the system (the cyanobacteria) then the bacteria has a harder time functioning because the high phosphorus is what fuels the cyanobacteria.

         <description><![CDATA[<div>A non-living factor is the nutrients that is entering the water as run-off. This nutrients creates a positive environment for cyanobacteria to bloom. Looking at the amount of plants surrounding the body of water, I can determine how much of that nutrients is being absorbed before reaching the cyanobacteria. The non-living factor of nutrients (phosphorous) are interacting with the living factors of plants and cyanobacteria, causing their population to increase or decrease. </div>]]></description>
