On page 77 the creature said to Marco, "Don't just sit there! You have to help too". "Otherwise we will never get high enough". Marco had to get a bag so he could roam around the tunnel to look for his aunt. Marco accomplished the swing by reaching the bag so he got the freedom to roam around the tunnel.   Marco changed by making his own decision without Lilly's help. Another character trait of Marco is scared. On page 14 Marco said "I'll just look inside. And if I see anything, and it looks safe-well, then I'll think about it. On page 9 Marco said ''The basement? What did you see down there?" Lilly was afraid to go in the basement so she asked Marco to go down there with her. In the book "Only You Can Save Mankind", the setting takes place in a arcade on page 10 "still playing that are you?". In the starting of the book it said he was in the arcade with his friends Joe and Wobbler. Marco and Johnny were the heroes of both book's. In the other book "Only You Can Save Mankind"it was also character vs self because once he got the message from an alien and he didn,t know if he should reply back to them. Both book's had the same conflict. Here's why! Marco was afraid to go in the tunnel. He was trying to persuade himself to go in the tunnel in his basement to save his aunt. In the other book, Johnny got a text from the alien was afraid to reply back. Marcos Millions is a sci-fiction book. It toke place in the present. In the book it also had  things that don't happen in real life, such as mythical creatures also alternative worlds.
The other book I read was called "Only You Can Save Mankind'. This book is a sci-fiction .This book toke place in the present because it didn't have any future stuff in the book. This book had things don't happen in real life this book also had Magic and mythical creatures
When comparing these two books , they both had a lot in common . They both had things that don't happen in real life, such as in 'Marco Millions", Marco entered a different world  through a hole in his basement. In the book "Only You Can Save Mankind" aliens came to earth to talk to Johnny. In' Marco Millions 'the mythical creatures were small bugs that captured his aunt. In the other book aliens came from outer space to visit Johnny. 
 These were the two book's that I read  and they were both sci-fiction and they also had mythical creatures in them. On page 127, the aliens threatened Johnny by saying "I don't mean kill you, I mean really kill you." Johnny remained silent and calm. He agreed not tell anyone the aliens name because he thought it was a dream and thought it could never happen. He was just a normal kid until aliens came to his world. Then once the aliens came he was getting worried that they were gonna harm the world. Another character trait for Johnny is afraid. On page 125, Johnny said "Don't fire. Promise? I hate dying. It makes it hard to think"! This makes him afraid because Johnny woke up in a star ship. The captain said "You have 60 seconds to get beyond range of our guns, or I will shoot".  Johnny was around the age of 12 because he liked playing video games. 
 In both books, Marco and Johnny are both 12. They both liked to explore the unknown. They are different because, Johnny doesn't have any siblings and Marco has two sisters Lilly and Ruth.
 When reading "Marco's Millions" I thought the book was a little interesting and would recommend this book to somebody as far as the other book "Only You Can Save Mankind" I would not really recommend this because I didn't like it. ]]> 2016-12-20 17:53:51 UTC https://padlet.com/calfaro23/2j89x21o376u/wish/144505709
