- TCP is a connection-oriented protocol and UDP is connectionless protocol. If the packet missing in TCP, it will resend the packets to unsure it received and with TCP are tracked so no data is loss. If TCP protocol lost a packet goes missing in transit, it can resend the packets to ensure the recipient receives them. So in TCP, no data will lost or corrupted in transit. But in UDP, it will just continue send the next packets, if the recipient miss or lost packets, they just lost, it won't resend again.
